09.12.2023I recently gave a bad review to a game store I visited out of town, and it was probably for one of the most bizarre scenarios I've ever come across. They had a massive selection (thousands of games), but the vast majority of their stock, whether it was cheap games on the shelves or expensive games in the glass cases, had some level of faded artwork. There was some really bad ones, some slightly faded ones, but most had so little that only a collector with a keen eye would have probably noticed. I looked around, and there was no sun light coming in anywhere, so that wasn't the problem. Then it dawned on me – their entire store, including inside the glass cases, was lit with fluorescent lights. Many may not realize, but they give off a small amount of UV light, which is what will eventually fade colours. Unfortunately, whether they knew or not, they had irreversibly damaged all their games. They never responded to my review, but I hope they saw it and made some necessary changes.

03.10.2023You're doing good bro. While I fully support customer feedback and reviews, keep in mind that usually the most outspoken, critical, and bothered people leave bad reviews based on really trivial experiences. They usually don't understand basic economics, can't afford what they want, or already have problems from home that they bring with them everywhere they go. Don't waste time with this stuff. You're on the right track. It's just too bad that the internet today has given a platform for some of the most negative people on the planet.

28.09.2023I'll never get negative reviews where the person essentially wanted someone to hold their hand and guide them through the store. Browsing is the best part!

27.09.2023I think there isn't enough incentive to leave a good review where a bad one can be used as revenge, I mean in general I think that's how people use the review systems. As for a new "super" word, I forget what TND stands for but how about "ThuNDer"?

24.09.2023Definatley deserving of 5 stars. Never had an issue with you guys or your stock. Everything has always been exactly what I wanted and has worked perfectly. Not to mention has always been in immaculate condition. I always enjoy coming to the store when I can and is worth travelling for. It’s one of the only stores around the with the kind of inventory you have. A large quantity of quality games and I always find something new. I pretty much built my entire childhood collection back up from your store. Your prices are fair and reasonable and I think most collectors get it. I find a lot of people (mostly older folk or parents or those new to the hobby or collecting in general) are surprised by the prices given they are “old games” and don’t realize the value and high demand of them nowadays. When I started collecting my childhood games again, I too was shocked at what some of them went for and it made me definitely wish I took better care of them before😅 but in all honesty, as any customer I’m sure who’s been in the store knows it can get crazy hectic and chaotic in there in a matter of seconds and can understand the break between customers and stocking. That being said, my questions, needs ect have never gone unaddressed and each of you have always given great customer service. I enjoy giving my business to (somewhat local to me lol) people who are passionate about their business and good to their customers. The relationships built with customers make all the difference. Unfortunately not everyone is like you guys! My partner and I had an unpleasant experience at another (somewhat local) more modern video game stores where we were openly mocked and laughed at by an employee simply for asking a question. We did end up leaving a review but never got any response. As I said before relationships matter. It’s just not the same as shopping somewhere where people are happy working where they are working and passionate about it as well as their customers needs. So Kudos to you guys Keep it up!

24.09.2023Sorry to hear about the one star review. You guys have been great to deal with. You guys are friendly and always will to help. I think part of what makes you guys different from other stores is all the photos and videos with trade-ins and inventory. Makes it easier hunting for games lol. I'm glad stores like yours are doing this. I bought some pricey games but I got them knowing they were pricey for a reason (for example, buying some Pokemon games).

24.09.2023Unfortunately, people are quick to leave a negative review for a small issue and you can bend over backwards to please them to fix the issue(either with a replacement or even just explaining how to properly use the item) and they will still leave the review up with no edit. Finding people who will take the time to leave a positive review, especially when 99/100 transactions are positive, is starting to become rare.
Simple rule in life is you can't please everyone, you stick to your values and views (even though it's crazy frustrating especially when it's a public review) and you take it on the chin, move on knowing you are doing right by the rest of your customers, new or reoccurring.
Keep up the good work, fellas!
