F1 23 reviewed by Luke Reilly on Xbox Series X. Also available on Xbox One, PlayStation, and PC.
“F1 23 is a far heartier package than F1 22, with 26 tracks, the enjoyable next chapter of the Braking Point story mode that began in F1 2021, and โ for players who love to recline back into the couch and race โ the best gamepad handling in the series, ever. The racing-focused secondary career mode F1 World is also likely to be a step in the right direction after last yearโs F1 Life for some, although it’s equally probable its arcade-inspired, loot-based upgrade system will be divisive amongst traditionalists.”

15.11.2023The only thing that could get me to buy this is PSVR2 support, which they said they won't do. It's not worth picking up the new version of F1 each year.

15.11.2023Whatever IGN pays Luke Reilly, it isnt enough. ๐

15.11.2023the hypercars were the best part of the last one. and this series has the best adaptive triggers so far, ignored by the reviewer and his "standard controller"…

13.11.2023if this is your first entry into the series, 8/10 is about right. If you've owned any of the previous games since F12020, it's barely worth 4/10. 'Codemasters', under the thumb of EA, have done the bare minimum as usual. If you really want to try out the new circuits and the Breaking Point story, wait a few months and pick it up second hand or on sale

12.11.2023These story modes are toilet should have vintage cars and vintage tracks in there instead thatโs what hardcore f1 fans want not these silly story modes ๐

10.11.2023Why does the game look so bad? It looks flat and over lit. The cars look they have their own light and shadow settings or something

10.11.2023It's funny that you review the only F1 game out there and do not review how it feels with a wheel.

08.11.2023considering how same-y a lot of racing games (especially those contained in one series) can feel, it's a great thing that IGN's best critic (by a lightyear) gets to cover the genre.

08.11.2023Still prefer the intuitive feeling of f1 20 and 21. Although this game does very very close and chicanes and slow speed corners are much easier.
