I use one of those metal party chairs with some rubber tips on it to give it more grip and not scratch the hard wood floor can be uncomfortable sm times but gotta make do with what you got
Tip my buddy gave me is if you have a desk chair get a couple pairs of shoes, put them on the casters prevents it from rolling back. Little janky but it works.
